Personal information
Some personal information is gathered when you register. During registration, we ask for your name, address, area code, phone/fax numbers and Email address. Only fields marked with an asterisk (*) on the registration field is required. This information is used solely to assist you in navigating the system by automatically filling in certain forms (ad posting form) with your information so that you don’t have to continually re-enter it.
Once you register you are no longer anonymous with Esperance Trader- you have a username and are able to take full advantage of the offerings of the Esperance Trader.
Business information
In addition to your personal information when registering for a business you will be asked to provide your ABN, Business name and website if you have one.
Club/Association information
In addition to your personal information when registering for a business you will be asked to provide your ABN, Club/ Association name and website if you have one.
If you send us a personal correspondence, such as emails, or letters etc.
We may create a personal folder specific for you.
2. How your information is used
The primary goal of the Esperance Trader in collecting personal, Business, Club and Association information is to provide you, the user, with a customized experience and to assist your navigation throughout the classifieds.
3. Who is collecting your information?
When you are asked for Personal, Business, Club and Association information on the Esperance Trader, you are sharing that information with the Esperance trader alone, unless it is specifically stated otherwise. However some activities will, by their nature, result in your personal information being revealed to other users of the Esperance Trader.
When you post an advert for example you will be allowing your information to be used by the general users of Esperance trader.
4. Children’s privacy
Children (under the age of 18 years) are not eligible to use our services.
Esperance Trader is open for all ages to view and navigate. Children should always ask a parent /guardian before sending personal information to any one online.
5. With whom your information will be shared
Esperance Trader will not disclose any of your Personal, Business, Clubs or Association information except when we have your permission or under special circumstances, such as we believe in good faith that the law requires it or under the circumstances described in the Terms and Conditions.
Esperance Trader may disclose account information in special cases when we have reason to believe that disclosing this information is necessary to identify, contact or bring legal action against someone who may be violating the terms and Conditions of Esperance Trader or may be causing injury to or interference with (either intentionally or unintentionally) the rights or property of Esperance Trader, other users of Esperance Trader, or anyone else that could be harmed by such activities. Esperance Trader may disclose or access account information when we believe in good faith that the law requires it and for administrative and other purposes that we deem necessary to maintain, service, and improve our products.
There is no information shared with third parties
6. Control of your password
We will provide you with the means to ensure that your personal information is correct and current. You may edit or delete you user profile at any time by logging in and click on to member details.
If you are a previous registered user and you have lost or forgotten your password, you may obtain a new one by email. Esperance Trader will then send you a new password, after receiving new password you can then update your profile with a password of your choice. Your Esperance Trader account can be deleted, but doing so will result in not being able to access any of the features of the program that require user registration
Ultimately, you are solely responsible for maintaining the secrecy of your passwords and/or any account information. Please be careful and responsible whenever you’re online
7. Cookies and how we use them
As part of offering and providing customizable and personalized services, the Esperance Trader may use cookies to store and sometimes track information about you.
